Expertise
My priority throughout my practice is to give a competent, courteous service and to respond quickly to calls and requests from my clients.

To do this, I follow the fundamental principle of always accurately informing my clients of their legal status, presenting them with different available options and the cost for these options.

Also, I opt for transparency. Therefore, each action performed in a case is detailed in the account for professional services transmitted to the client. I also prefer to issue a monthly bill in order to give an overview of the costs in a timely manner allowing my clients to adjust the given mandate at any time.

My Fields of Practice

More specifically, my fields of practice include:

Business law: licence agreement, service contract, subcontract, commercial litigation, account collection;

Civil Law: action for damages, human rights, contractual liability, drafting contracts;

Construction Law: construction contract, legal mortgage, RBQ and CCQ licence, quote, hidden defects;

Real Estate Law: boundaries, encroachment, injunction, acquisitive prescription, promise to purchase, easement, neighbourhood annoyances;

Municipal law: demolition, vested rights, expropriation, flooding/backup, permits, municipal liability, property taxes, urban planning, zoning;

Civil Liability: defamation, personal injury, material and moral damages, insurance law, medical malpractice, personal liability, vicarious liability and property responsibility.

Why should you retain my services

In most cases, people seek counsel when faced with conflict or a problematic situation and do not know how to cope. Obviously, I'm here to help you resolve the conflict or situation in your best interest.

However, it is also important to understand that the role of a lawyer may not only be curative but also preventive.

In many situations, for example by consulting a lawyer before you sign a contract, you can avoid disastrous consequences. I therefore strongly insist to my clients to consult me before investing in a situation to maximize the chances that this investment and/or involvement will be profitable and happy.
